native password manager in google chrome android

Exciting times for Google Chrome users. We recently covered ‘sneak peek‘ feature in Google chrome android dev build. Today, we bring you another feature from Google Dev or canary builds which can be enabled via chrome flags.

In Chrome on your android phone, copy-paste “chrome://flags/#google-password-manager” in Google Chrome browser on your Android phone and enable the flag. Re-launch the browser and check Passwords in Chrome’s settings. You should see a new UI with integrated passwords page.

The benefit of this is, you don’t have to be redirected to a web browser in order to login again and manage your passwords. Instead you get the feature where you can edit, view and deleted your saved passwords right from Google Chrome itself.
