Google announced today on their blog that Gboard will use a combination of machine learning and “artistry” to create emoji style mini sticker that looks like the user.
Tecnically, these are not emojis but as Google terms it, they are “mini stickers”.
After the user takes a selfie, emoji Minis use Google’s machine learning algorithms, known as neural networks, to suggest a skin tone, hair style and accessories that can be fine tuned.
Then you can choose hair color, facial hair, different types of headwears, and eyewear.
Freckles and wrinkles can also be added.
